The human foot is an extraordinary complex mechanism consisting of 25% of the bones in your body, held in position by many ligaments, tendons and muscles. They all synchronize their actions to provide a single step. We take this movement at a staggering 4,000-10,000 times a day, over a variety of terrains. In an average life time our feet will travel between 240,000 and 320,000 kilometers. That’s six times around the world.
